PS

Fotos will come... one of these days. I promise. Just not anytime soon.

So we are married now...

So sorry for not writing sooner! We are married! This Saturday will be 7 weeks. It seems like much longer, only in that is just seems so natural. We enjoy being married, living together and dreaming of the future. The wedding was perfect (thank you all who helped!) and the reception was so enjoyable (thank you all for coming!) Truly, it has been incredible!
The most difficult part of being newly married is working. He still works nights and I am still at Starbucks with an irregular schedule of working at 5:30am some days and closing at 10:30pm other days. It isn't so pleasant right now but bills are being paid.
On that note, a car decided to interrupt our stop-sign in a parking lot and move us from our stopped position. Our car was totalled. Craig's to be exact. If it was my super-mini-van we wouldn't be in such luck because I only have liability. Our insurance company is taking car of us and we have found a sweet car for just in our budget which means we don't need to tap into our savings account and the car loan no longer exists. Thus, debt in the car sense is no more.
We are happy in our little (it is actually rather large and spacious) 3rd floor apartment in Manchester. We enjoy bringing people to it and just relaxing and getting work done at home. It's nice for both of us to have a home that is truly ours.
New news (in case you didn't consider the above to be "new") we are launching a student ministry with our church (The Dialogue Church) in our home. YAY! Our little church is growing and kids are needing some guidance and a place to be connected and belong. We are excited to provide that with where we live and where we are in our life.
I thought that maybe life wouldn't be so busy once we got married but that was just silly. It's busier. And so goes the OCD washing of the kitchen floor on my part, running here and there to see people, working out/running, cooking dinner, working and of course the whole car situation which just isn't very convenient.
Overall, it's been fun learning to live with each other. Finding that some things I used to be very particular about (like keeping the Brita filled) just don't matter as much anymore to realizing that old habits don't always fade (like my frustration with a kitchen floor that just never gets clean enough). We love dating each other whether that is going for a run together, picnicking in the park on the hill to watch the sunset and biking around town to get errands done rather than driving. We enjoy each other and each day that peace settles in deeper and deeper that this is the man I was made to serve and love and live alongside for the rest of our lives. It can't get much sweeter than this... well I guess there's babies.
